Community Health Nursing Providers

Faye Dodge is a Registered Nurse and the Community Health Nursing Director. “I am committed to staying current on health care issues, understanding chronic diseases and their affect on the Menominee Community and following issues of Public Health. I believe we as Health care providers need to consider the many aspects of life that affect individual health.” Faye has received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UW Madison and is a Certified Diabetic Educator. She enjoys gardening, her grandchildren and traveling. |

Debra Ryan Prijic is a Nutrition Educator/Lactation Consultant in the Nutrition/WIC Department. “Breastfeeding can be successful with accurate information and assistance. Breastfeeding women need support from family, friends, the community and their employer.” Debra has received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse. Debra is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. |

Patricia Ann Burr is a Diabetes Nurse Educator in Community Health Nursing. “I feel that client and their educational needs with Diabetes are one of my main concerns. Diabetes is a condition that requires the individual to be “in the driver's seat” making healthy choices and appropriate lifestyle changes. I am here to educate and guide them on their journey to wellness.” Patty received her Associate Degree in Nursing from NWTC in Green Bay, WI, and her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Marian College in Fon Du Lac, WI. Patty is a Certified Diabetes Educator. She enjoys reading, hiking, snowshoeing, traveling, her son, and teaching Sunday School. |

Scott Krueger, RD, CD, CDE, is the Nutrition Services Director. “I have a strong emphasis in the stages of change and self –management models. Give each individual the tools they need, and they will create change within.” Scott received his B.S. in Community Medical Dietetics from Viterbo University, with a minor in Psychology. Scott specializes is a Certified Diabetes Educator, and a Certified Adult Weight Management Educator. His interests include his family, biking, hiking and camping. |

Sherry J. Smith, RD, CD, is a WIC/Community Dietitian in the Nutrition/WIC Department. “I believe that not only should people enjoy food and eating, but can eat healthy while doing so. My desire is to help people attain this goal.” Sherry received her B.S. in Human Biology Community Nutrition. Has done a Dietetic Traineeship at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI, in 1978. She is a Registered Dietitian (RD), and has a CD from the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing. She specializes in Maternal and Child Nutrition. Mark Caskey , RN, C.H.E.S., is the Wellness Director for the Clinic's Wellness Program. “All issues are Wellness issues. I have a responsibility to the community to not remain silent on issues that effect health. Even shake things up sometimes. Menominee Wellness is a program about what people can do, not a program about what they should do. Health is a Menominee birthright. I believe that people are born into the world with a innate ability and desire to be well. I am not here to make people feel guilty. We are here to accept everyone just they way they are, and support them in their effort to learn more about themselves. Provide a opportunity for Tribal members to explore what wellness means to them in a cooperative, pleasurable, caring, and productive environment. I like to think of my office as ‘A Safe Space.'” Mark is a Registered Nurse and has received a BS in Health Education, Fitness, and Recreation from the University of Utah. And he was a LTJG in the U.S. Navy. Mark loves his family, animals, skiing, bow hunting and traveling. |

Irene Waubanascum is a Registered Nurse for Homecare in Community Health Nursing. “I want to meet the health care needs of my patients by planning their care on an individual basis. Maintaining their dignity and respecting their values are foremost in my plan.” Irene has done Geriatric Nursing in Milwaukee and Obstretic Nursing at Shawano Medical Center. She enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing cards.

Mental Health Services Providers

Roger W. Barr is a Staff Psychologist in the Mental Health Services department. “My role is to assist people in making desired changes.” Roger has a B.S. in Psychology and a M.S. in Psychology Clinical. His interests include canoe tripping, downhill and cross-country skiing and trout fishing. |

Michael O'Neill is Psychiatric Consultant in Mental Health Services. “The doctor-patient relationship is the key to the healing process and each patients individual uniqueness must be respected.” He graduated from the University of Notre Dame, attended the Medical School from University of Chicago, and did his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Wisconsin. He Specializes in Psychiatry. Michael O'Neill enjoys reading, music, outdoors, biking and golf. |

Rachel Jo Murphy, PhD., is a Clinical Psychologist in the Mental Health Services department. “I am a general practitioner. I enjoy helping people strive to meet their goals in life and help them combat their problems. I believe all people are capable of change.” Rachel received her B.S. from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1994. She received her Master of Arts in 1997 from the University if Arkansas-Fayettville, and received her Doctorate in 2000 from the University of Arkansas-Fayettville. She specializes in Post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual assault depression, and anxiety. Rachel's interest include playing with her son, Cody. Taking walks and shopping. |
