What is the AIDS Project? & What does it Offer?

               

Confidential HIV antibody testing and counseling is available free of charge.  Testing is encouraged because early intervention is a key factor in treating the disease.  Contact the medical appointment clerk at 799-5402.

 

Community health educators are available for meetings, conferences, and community presentations at no charge.  Brochures, posters, videos, books and other materials on HIV and AIDS are available for loan from the resource center.  Call 799-5432 and ask for the AIDS Coordinator.

 

A support group for HIV infected individuals and their loved ones or caretakers is available, offering peer support and current information.  Contact the AIDS coordinator or any of the doctors for information about meetings.
